About us

A world of potential made possible

At Possibilities NI, our aim is to unlock a world of potential.

We are a creative, dynamic training consultancy committed to providing high quality, value for money training solutions to companies and individuals in Northern Ireland and throughout Europe. We work both with people who want to get jobs and qualifications and with those organisations that suppport them to do so.

Set up by Gingerbread NI, the lone parent support charity, with the aim of generating income to support the work of the charity, Possibilities NI operates as a social enterprise. This means that we operate in much the same way as any other company but with one significant difference - our profits are transferred to the charity. We are, therefore, profit making but not profit taking.

Just some of the companies we have worked with……

  • Marks and Spencer
  • Department for Employment and Learning (DEL)
  • Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
  • Community Change
  • Disability Action
  • Strabane Community Work Provision
  • Omagh District Council
  • Deering Training
  • Ortus Training
  • People First
  • FIT NI
  • Transition Training
  • North City Training
  • South Eastern Regional College

If your company values corporate social responsibility but doesn't want to compromise on standards…

…then Possibilities can offer you an ethical and cost-effective way to achieve both objectives. You will receive a high quality service at competitive price while knowing that your money will also help to support Gingerbread's essential work with one parent families. This is what is known as the double bottom line.

If you want to return to work and would like support or training…

…we have a range of training and mentoring services to help you. From the award winning Marks and Starts, offering training and work experience for lone parents with retail giant Marks and Spencer, to one-to-one support through Your Space, we have something to suit everyone. Click on 'For Job Seekers' under 'Our Services' above for more information.

If you want to develop innovative international projects…

…we have experience of applying for funding, developing and managing projects, finding European partners and evaluating projects. We have experience of most of the major European Commission initiatives and work with partners in over 15 European countries.
